Hi, Hopefully someone can help me…When I press on a picture, lightbox comes up as it should, however, there are no next/previous buttons so a person wouldn’t know that they can scroll through the pics.

Also, is it possible to have the lightbox automatically come up with the first picture when going to a page rather than waiting for them to press one?

    Thanks!

Nevermind, I don’t need the auto play anymore…I do want next/previous buttons on the lightbox images though. Can you please help me with this?

    Hi Jill,

How have you added the images in with Lightbox enable? With a gallery or single image? Is there multiple images on the page?

Do you have a link to your site so I can take a further look?

    Kind regards,
    Tom

    Hi Jill,

You seem to have 9 major errors on your page all relating to 404 errors which means the items cannot be found.

Some of the links are quite strange and are not normal file paths. e.g. http://www.laurabakerphotography.com/ePix/images/fancybox/fancybox_sprite.png

Normally, the link would look like domain.com/wp-content/themes/epix/thentherest..

Do you have your files in a different location to your actual site?

If you are still having issues, please set your reply to private and provide your URL/login details so I can take a further look for you.

    Kind regards,
    Tom

Hi! Yes, I had a problem with installation that messed up all links…it was calling things from another Epix folder. It was weird Also, I tried so many plugins and such that I’m not surprised about that. No, my files are all in the same location..that’s definitely a weird link!

    Hi Jill,

There is still something very strange happening on your site, the server is looking for different file paths of things that don’t exist. I recommend updating to the latest version of ePix to see if that sorts things first.

The other errors are, Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.laurabakerphotography.com/wp-content/themes/ePix/js/cufon/Quicksand.cufonfonts.js
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.laurabakerphotography.com/wp-content/themes/ePix-WordPress/ePix/stylesheets/font-icons/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.woff?v=4.0.3

I don’t see the invalid error you are experiencing, did you resolve this?

From looking at the plugins, it is not possible to do this as the image is watermarked when uploaded, not on the size it is. Unfortunately we cannot offer customisation for 3rd party plugins, only theme modification.

Have you tried this plugin for watermarking? Looks the best bet.

    Kind regards,
    Tom

I think it resolved itself after awhile as I didn’t do anything! How do you update the theme? Sorry, I’ve always just clicked update rather than manually updating. I have to make sure I back up my css files and header and such as I edited on both which was dumb.

The watermark plug in you suggested is the one that ruined my site. Maybe it won’t with the updated version to the theme. Thanks for your time today!! Just let me know the best way to update and I will leave you be (for now…haha).

    Hi Jill,

So you have things sorted now? Just need to update?

For more information on updating the theme, please see here.

Saying that, there is a new version of ePix being released today at some point so I recommend holding off for a day so you do not need to update the theme twice. To be alerted about the updates, go to ThemeForest, Downloads > Find ePix and tick the Notify of updates button.

    Kind regards,
    Tom
