I'm working with two different shortcodes to display a 2/3 1/3 content page with a accordion on the right side inside the 1/3 part of the page. On the 2/3 part a gravity multipage form (via ajax) is displayed. What I'd like to do is, open a specific accordion panel (e.g. the second one) when the e.g. second page of the multipage form is loaded.
Gravity Forms itself provides functions to fire e.g. jquery code when such an event happens but how do I modify (and target) specific accordion panels?
When I look at the page content via Firebug it seems that accordions and their panels don't have a specific id and I'm unsure how to complete this task.
Has anybody ever tried to do such a thing via jQuery and can provide a codesnippet?
The url is http://alturl.com/rmpax
Every gravity form page should be associated with an accordion panel on the right side (to open the panel when the appropriate form page is displayed).
Gravity Form page 1 -> Display first accordion panel
Gravity Form page 2 -> Display second accordion panel
Gravity Form page 3 -> Display third accordion panel
The form page is under development so take any text entries in the accordion panels just as demo texts.
No jquery needed – you should be able to just put the tab ID into the URL.
That should open tab number 3.
Hope that helps
I'm afraid this isn't the solution to what I want to achieve 😉
The Gravity Form uses Ajax (and I don't want to change this) so it doesn't require a page refresh to display different steps of a multiform. So using a (new) url to open a specific tab (and requiring a page reload) isn't an option.
