on our site, after updating the theme from a previous recent version (2.7.5?) we needed to install BP Template Pack plugin to get the Javascript interactions on the "activity stream" page to work — specifically:

    • AJAX posting
    • posting comments on activity items
    • posting replys to comments on activity items
    • loading more posts
    • changing the filter for activity stream items (updates only, friends only, etc)

Is this by design or a bug that needs fixing?

Before installing BP Template Pack, none of the above interactions were working, and after installing, they all are working…

That's interesting – I've just tested it out and it works fine here?

Were you using the child theme?

Not sure if this is what you mean, but here are our skin settings:

    Header / Footer Skin: Carbon

    Body Skin: Light

You're probably not using the child theme then. Can you send a link to the site without the template pack activated.

    Thanks

andy, it's running on a test server, you'll have to edit your HOSTS file — add the following lines:

    50.16.244.79 theartofcharmacademy.com

    50.16.244.79 http://www.theartofcharmacademy.com

and you can log in with this info:

    p- dynamixroxx1!

    site: http://theartofcharmacademy.com/

please update when you've had a look so i can continue development

    Hi AJ,

I can't access the admin with that login. I can confirm it should 100% work. I'm wondering if plugins are causing the conflict (however there are no errors in the console).

Strange! Maybe it was a plugin interaction that was breaking it. I tried again with a fresh copy of the server and now it seems to be working… the wonders never cease… thanks for looking!
