    Hi,

    How to add a button with text to the menu?

    Like for example, how you highlighted the ‘purchase’ button on this page.

    The Menu dock text link seems to be broken in the docs.

    Thanks,

    Hi @phani36

    To make the menu item look like a colored button, you just need to add a CSS Class to that item named ‘button_color’

    If you do not see the option to add CSS Class, click on screen option on the upper right corner of the page then put a check on CSS Classes.

    Thank you for pointing it out. We will correct that asap. The correct link should be http://docs.acoda.com/you/2016/03/09/header/

    Thank you, that worked!

    However, I am stuck with another small change.
    I don’t want the active menu item to be a colored button, but instead just change the color with no button. I tried putting something like this under Theme options-> custom css which didn’t work.

    .current_page_item a {
    color: #08c !important;
    }

    Can you please tell how I can remove the button for active item?

    Please use this CSS instead:

    .current-menu-item a {
        background-color: transparent !important;
    }

    Thanks!

    Thanks, It worked!

    I also had to add the below to make it visible on a white background.
    color:#blue !important;

    Glad to know that.

    Thanks!
