    I am trying to alter the background colors in the LOWER footer, but seem to be failing somewhere. Here is the CSS I have added to /you-child/style.css:

    .lowerfooter {background-color:#dd3333;}
    .lowfooterleft {background-color:#dd3333;}
    .lowfooterright {background-color:#dd3333;}

    Is there a different CSS class I am missing?

    Please disregard, I figured it out.

    For future users who might be interested in the same, this is the CSS to add to your child theme:

    .lowerfooter-wrap {background-color:#dd3333;}
    .lowerfooter {background-color:#dd3333;}
    .lowfooterleft {background-color:#dd3333;}
    .lowfooterright {background-color:#dd3333;}

    Thanks for a great theme!

    Glad you were able to figured it out and thank you for sharing, @talanithus
