    Hi,

    I am quite new to wordpress so please bear with me.  I am trying to get woocommerce to work with dynamix.  The plugin seems to work fine but the sidebar on the main products page drops out of alignment.  I have been on the woo commerce website and they say I need to add some lines of code to functions.php

    I have added this but don’t know what hooks?? I am suppose to use from the dynamix theme.  Their tutorial page is: http://wcdocs.woothemes.com/codex/third-party-custom-theme-compatibility/

    I have added these lines to remove the woothemes code?? to functions.php

    remove_action( 'woocommerce_before_main_content', 'woocommerce_output_content_wrapper', 10);

    remove_action( 'woocommerce_after_main_content', 'woocommerce_output_content_wrapper_end', 10);

    and have added this:

    add_action('woocommerce_before_main_content', create_function('', 'echo "<section id="main">";'), 10);

    add_action('woocommerce_after_main_content', create_function('', 'echo "</section>";'), 10);

    but their tutorial says the theme I am using may need different codes?

    Their quote – “Making sure that the markup matches that of your theme. If you’re unsure of which classes or ID’s to use take a look at page.php for a guide.”

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    PS: tried to use wp-ecommerce but when I activated it every link on my website went to one one page – the products page??

    The problem I have with the sidebar alignment with woothemes can be seen here: http://poledaninguk.com/shop
