    Hi,

We put an Audio Player plugin link on each of our sermon posts on our website, then have the most recent 10 posts show up on our podcast page within a post slider. We just switched from Dynamix to You theme and now the audio player will not work in the Group Slider – instead it gives the “shortcode” for the player at the bottom of the entry. However, it still loads on the actual post page. Is there something I should look for to fix this that I’m missing, or should I look beyond settings within Group Slider? Or is it a hopeless cause?

http://www.northgatealaska.com/media is where the issue is occurring right now.

    Thanks for your help,

    Stephen

    Hi @northgatealaska

Can you please send over your WP login site? I tried both http://www.northgatealaska.com/wp-admin/ and http://www.northgatealaska.com/media/wp-admin/ and none of these two work.

Anyway, I have also checked your site http://www.northgatealaska.com/media and the audios are all working fine. If you could send screenshots, we would appreciate it.

    Hi @northgatealaska

Do you possibly have a security plugin on your site? Accessing both http://www.northgatealaska.com/wp-login.php or http://www.northgatealaska.com/wp-admin just shows this message on the page:
Sorry, your request cannot be accepted.

    Okay,

I’ve whitelisted the provided IP. I’m really sorry about this hassle. I’ve not had such issues in the past, and am not sure what is causing it. Hopefully this is the fix!

    Fingers crossed,

    Hi @northgatealaska

Thanks as I am now able to login.

I have checked this and it looks like the audio player relies on flash? It would be best to switch to another plugin that uses HTML5 instead of flash as not only is it outdated, it consumes more server resources than usual.

Also, the login credentials you provided do not have administrator access, so I can’t personally check the plugin you use for this.

    Regards,
