I am having issues with my blog ever since the last update with wordpress/epix theme. The actual page will not load up and it gove me the following issue:

    500 Server Error

A misconfiguration on the server caused a hiccup. Check the server logs, fix the problem, then try again.

    Hi Jeremy,

That is very strange, please try something quick and let me know if this works.

Go to Settings > Permalinks > Change to Post Name and save. If it is already post name, set to Default then post again.

Please let me know if that solves things. If not, please set your reply to private and provide your URL/login details so I can take a further look for you.

    Hi Jeremy,

We have had a deeper look into this and found out a few things. If you switch to the standard theme, you can see that the site is really struggling to load the blog page.

ePix requires more memory than the standard theme as it runs Visual Composer as well as a few other meaty scripts. This seems to be a WordPress memory issue of some sort. I recommend going back to your hosting company to see if they can up your server memory as sometimes hosting companies can set the limit very low.

    Hope this helps.
    Tom
