On this simple side (http://www.360weggis.ch/kugelpanorama/) I have 210 graphics (Total objects:268). Your homepage (http://dynamix.creativeworkz.co.uk/) has 155 graphics (Total objects:165) and is much bigger. How can this be? I use pingdom.com.

Have you tried to use W3 Toral Cache (minify for JavaScript and CSS)?

for a better performance can be css-sprites a solution. http://css-tricks.com/css-sprites/

    Hi,

I use css-sprites for some of the graphics.

As for the prettyPhoto images – I’ll remove these references for the next update ( I upgraded prettyPhoto and forgot to remove these).

js is minified in 2.7.5 – as for CSS I’ll leave as it is because people want to make changes too often and this would complicate things, at the moment the css can be read by newbies.

I have install your Theme on my first Blog http://www.vrpix.ch to compare. The performance is much much better there.

But I use a good Hoster http://www.mittwald.de and they also do not find the problem. The Storage (diskaccess and transfer) is often the problem. These are a lot of graphics CSS in your wonderful Theme 🙂 css-sprites can help (+-200 Images) But everything change is a lot of work.
