I am new to the theme so I might be missing something easy. I've created a video page and set the template to "Blog." I've scrolled down and have checked off one category to be included. The video page has the posts from every category at the top and then begins a "video" page at the bottom with the video posts. How do you take the top, with all the posts, off?

On my post slider gallery, my pictures are flush with the top of the gallery line. On the demonstration site and the flying book club (http://flyingbookclub.ie/) there is something like a 10px cushion between the pictures and the top border. Is there something I'm missing?

One last thing. I have tried and tried the tabs, but they're not working. Here is the code:

[tabswrap] [tabhead id="1"] Dynamix [/tabhead] [tabhead id="2"] Dynamix [/tabhead] [tabhead_last id="3"] Dynamix [/tabhead_last] [tab id="1"] This is content for the tabs. [/tab] [tab id="2"] This is content for the tabs. [/tab] [tab id="3"] This is content for the tabs. [/tab] [/tabswrap]

    Thanks for the help.

    Hi,

    1) Make sure you have no posts page selected in Settings -> Reading -> Posts Page. If you select a posts page it will override DynamiX.

    2) You can add to the style.css ->

    .post-slider .container { padding-top:15px; }

    3) I can't see the code – they should work fine though – do you have a link to your page?

    Andy,

    Thanks for the quick response.

Thanks, I should have thought of editing the css.

On the tabs, I created a post. Here's the link: http://christchurchdfw.us/tabs. It creates the titles as a list on the left without any content or the framing.

Sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean by the no-posts (I did look at your Setting Up the Home page). WordPress requires that I designate some page as the post page, doesn't it?

    Andy,

Scratch the tabs. Apparently, it was a plugin problem.

I still am not getting the no-post page setting, though.

    Thanks.

    Hi Peter,

No it doesn't require it – if you deselect the "Posts Page" it will allow DynamiX to use the blog settings you have set.
