Hi, I’m really struggling with lightbox.

I am easily able to get images to open up videos in lightbox, however, I can’t get a button to open up a lightbox video.

Right now I have a button that says “A Message From Our CEO” that I’d like to link to a YouTube video.
I have tried it as adding a button, and have moved on to adding it as a button in a text box.

Code I’ve tried that hasn’t worked:

    [vc_btn title="A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO" style="flat" align="center" rel="fancybox" shape="rounded" link="url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBEz2Eokdsk&t=1s"]

    [vc_btn title="A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO" style="flat" align="center" rel="lightbox" shape="rounded" link="url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBEz2Eokdsk&t=1s"]

    [vc_btn title="A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO" style="flat" align="center" rel="prettyPhoto" shape="rounded" link="url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBEz2Eokdsk&t=1s"]

Is there any way you can help me?

    Thanks,
    Nikki

    Hi Nikki,

Under button settings, add lightbox iframe as the ‘Extra Class Name”.

This should make links on the button open in a lightbox.

    Can you please try it?

    Thanks!

    Hi –

I did this and it makes the lightbox iframe sort of pop up (aka I see the black screen and the outline of what I should be seeing), but I do not see the video (hosted on YouTube).

Would this be an issue with the link?

    Thanks for your help!

    Best,
    Nikki

    Hi!

I got it to work – I took out the word “iframe” – thank you!
