    Hey,

is there some way to change the point/area that the slider zooms in to on the full page slider?

Same question goes for selecting which part of the photo is shown in the grid

    Hi Jacob,

Unfortunately there are no options for this, the only way would be to customize the code to where you’d like to point it. I’m considering adding more options in the future.

The Grid gallery is based on the image ratio, unfortunately again there are no options to change where it resizes the images from. It should be center center?

It is centre/centre but that presents fairly obvious problems should the images one the website be non-centre focused, which is particularly likely on a photography website.

I take it that if I replace my front page full screen slider with a different slider/plugin I’ll lose the autohiding menu functionality?

    Hi Jacob,

You can set the image sizes so they’re not cropped. Setting a width and no height will not crop the images, enable masonry too and you’ll have this result. http://epix.themeva.com/grid/

Yes, you will lose that ability. However I am bringing out the option to auto-hide the menu in the next week or so.

Thanks, that’ll work well for the grid.

My home page is a full screen slider, when opened on a mobile device some horizontal images (especially those with a bias to the left/right of the image) are cropped unflatteringly. Do you know of any way to counteract this?

No problem, it sounds like you need to apply either of these options : http://themeva.com/docs/epix/fit-height-and-width-on-images/

This will fit the height or width, depending on whether it’s a landscape or portrait image. I hope that helps?

Not really unfortunately, I was hoping for a solutions more akin to this justified image solution – http://justifiedgrid.com/automatic-align/ – if I were to purchase this plugin instead, is there any way to preserve the autohiding main menu on the homescreen

The masonry effect should do that for the grid gallery. But the grid gallery doesn’t work with the auto-hide anyway. As soon as I’m back from my trip, I’m going to be working on the auto-hide for all pages.

    Sounds good, thanks Andy
