    Hi Andy!
    i have to update the theme on this domain http://www.ferrobattutotreviso.it
    Now, i have italian translations on some files, and i plan to create a child theme. I followed the instrucions here: http://themeva.com/docs/dynamix/child-theme/
    Just some questions to not have errors. In ../wp-content/themes/DynamiX-Child i have archive.php , style.css , sub-functions.php
    is that true that in sub-functions.php file i have to insert ONLY that code with the customization?
    In this case i have only a part of code
    <?php
    /* ————————————
    :: READ MORE
    ———————————— */

    function themeva_readmore( $exturl = ” )
    {
    $url = ( $exturl !=” ) ? $url = $exturl : $url = get_permalink();

    return ‘<p>‘. __( ‘Leggi tutto →’, ‘themeva’ ) .’</p>’;
    }
    ?>
    Otherwise in archive.php and style.css i have the fully code customized loaded.
    Thank you for your excellent support!
    Cheers

    Hi Igor_,

    I don’t believe the sub-functions.php will work in the child theme because it’s within a sub-folder. Unless WP have changed this, I’m pretty sure that’s the case.

    With regards to the rest, yes, copy the original files into the child theme and modify them.

    Thank you for your quick reply!
    I will follow your intructions. Maybe i’ll create the same sub-folders into child theme, by adding sub-functions.php file and verify if it works.

    Cheers
