    Hi

I am in the process of switching from Terso to Dynamix and am building the Dynamix theme in a sandbox area (mirror copy of our website content) to allow for some website updating etc. is there a way I can copy the customised theme (having adapted the “urban” skin) to allow implementation in to the live site?

i.e. developed in a hidden sub-domain for final implementation into main site when ready?

    Hi,

I’ve been working on a “Skin” export function – I’ll finish it off over the next few days and you can add it to both sites so you can export and import your skins.

    Hi Andy,

I’m sorry to bug you, but have you any word on the “Skin” export function?

    Hi Ian,

No need to apologise, I’m glad you reminded me. I’ve created the file now, replace DynamiX/lib/adm/inc/options-backup.php with the followng file:

    http://help.themeva.com/tmp/options-backup.php.zip ( unzip )

Once you’ve uploaded the file, goto Appearance > Backup Options and you’ll be able to export and import the skins.

    Hi,

The file from DynamiX may work with Terso – unfortunately I’ve shut down all test sites for Terso now.
