    Hi,

I want to create an online community where users can sign up, create profiles, and post content. So, I want them to be the ones who post and provide the content of the website. But so far I haven’t been able to figure out how to enable other public to sign up and be able to post. I would appreciate it if you can help me please or show me to a forum post that talks about a similar problem. Thank you.

    Hi Laura,

If you like the model of this site it, it’s using BuddyPress and bbPress. The bbPress plugin handles the forums and BuddyPress can handle the profile and login sections.

You can find various guides on both websites: https://buddypress.org/ and https://bbpress.org/

    I hope that helps?

Pardon me if the question is too simple, but where can I access them and change the setting? You mentioned that DynamiX uses BuddyPress and bbPress plugins. Do I need to explicitly install and activate these plugins or I shouldn’t since they are automatically activated when I installed DynamiX?

I first installed and set DynamiX and then activated the BuddyPress and bbPress plugins. Is that going to cause problems?

    Thank you

    Hi Laura,

You need to install BuddyPress and bbPress individually via the WP Admin > Plugins. Those plugins handle the functionality you require and the Theme integrates with them.
