    hi,
is there a way to lose the extra body colour at the bottom of the lower footer.it displays the body colour and i would prefer the footer skin to go to bottom.ive tried all sorts of css tricks with no avail.

this excess is there regardless of whether or not the lower footer is activated.

    see here:

my lower footer section is the copywrite/activa area and the white area is the excess.

This unfortunately isn’t an easy task.

The only way you’ll be able to fill that space is to push the inner content so it fills the page.

Check out http://ryanfait.com/resources/footer-stick-to-bottom-of-page/ for more information – but beware if your page doesn’t have a lot of content within you’ll have to scroll to the footer.

Trust me I tried. That’s the only solution unless you know the exact height of every page or use jQuery to work out the height…. like you say really not worth it.
