    Hi,

    I’d like to custom my 404 page.

    I’ve put a copy of the 404.php of the theme in my child-theme directory, no problem.

    I’ve edited it within wordpress editor, no problem.

    But I would like to remove it’s title bar and breadcrumbs. Or if not possible, modify it’s title “Oops!” and thebreadcrumbs : “Home/Error 404” with other values.

    Site is soon to be updated, may be http://www.myfit-brest.fr/tutu at the time you will look at my topic here 😉

    Thanks for your help 😉

    Hi @lomic,

    You may use this CSS to hide both the title and the breadcrumbs on your Custom 404 page.

    .error404 .post-titles {
        display: none;
    }

    .error404 .intro-wrap div.intro-text {
        display: none;
    }

    Thanks!

    Thanks for your answer.

    I may not have used your advice right, because it doesn’t seem to have any effect.

    I’ve added your CSS code to my style.css (child-theme) via WordPress editor and it has no effect on the title or the breadcrumbs.

    Hi @lomic

    Please place it inside Appearance > Theme Options > Customize > Custom CSS

    Works better, thanks !

    I don’t get why it works in this Custom CSS and not in the child-theme stylesheet ?

    Hi @lomic

    There is a possibility that the CSS was incorrectly added to the child theme’s CSS.

    Glad to know it works when added via Theme Options.

    Regards,
