    Hi Vinh,

    The following code will hide the drop down menu on the iPad. If you want to display it like the desktop version please follow the instructions below.

    Edit Dynamix/stylesheets/responsive.css and remove the following CSS:

    @media only screen and (min-device-width: 481px) and (max-device-width: 980px) and (orientation:portrait) {
    #nv_selectmenu { display:block !important; }
    #dyndropmenu { display: none !important; }
    #header #nv-tabs { float:none !important; }
    }
    @media only screen and (min-device-width: 481px) and (max-device-width: 980px) and (orientation:landscape) {
    #nv_selectmenu { display:block !important; }
    #dyndropmenu { display: none !important; }
    #header #nv-tabs { float:none !important; }
    }
    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    #nv_selectmenu { display:block !important; }
    #dyndropmenu { display: none !important; }
    #header #nv-tabs { float:none !important; }
    }

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,
    Tom

    Hi Vphan,

    The code above will remove the dropdown menu for the iPad, if you remove it for the iPhone, barely any of the menu will show?

    Kind regards,
    Tom

    This works great. I am not sure why the theme has the select menu for tablets in the first place. Now my site looks and works great on my iPad.

    Now it would be great to get rid of the select menu for smartphones and employ the condensed menu that most other responsive themes have. The select menu is TERRIBLE.

    I was almost ready to switch themes, although now I will keep this theme with the wish that the condensed menu will show up for smartphones in future revisions.

    Best,

    Hi Wayne,

    The reason it was switched to select menu was because people were using large menus. Andy is looking at ways to add in a condensed menu but with the select menu it works well with the little room that is available.

    Kind regards,
    Tom
