I have a Logo Banner that has a width of 960px and height is 282px. I would like to place the image in the header replacing the current logo and menus. How do I hide the logo and menus that are showing up by default and replace it with the new image logo header?
Also since the header logo has a larger height how do I change the headers background height to match it?
read this topic i've done it for mine:
I changed the logo css but when I changed the width of the logo to 960px it does not stretch all the way it cuts off at 640px
I removed the menu by using display:none;
Now I cant figure out how to make the header and footer background area a fixed width and height. I tried adding width:960px; height:282px; in different parts of the css and I cant get it to change. Is there a specfic line I have ot edit to make the header and footer a specific width and height?
can you provide a quick mockup of what your trying to achieve,then you can be guided in the right direction.
are you just replacing the logo or the entire header background?
the actual header images will need resizing to the height you require,the main center image width is 960px if using the default 2 images.an example is this:
here a single image has been used for header.
as for your footer,you can give the footer-wrap a min-height in your styles.css
Heres what I am trying to do http://fakdb.com/Example.jpg
I have 2 menus (Top menu is just a static image with links and the bottom is a dropdown menu) and the header logo.
Everything is a fixed width of 960px.
