The visual Composer plugin that comes with the you theme makes it possible to create custom grid templates and that is great.
I can see that the plugin has the capacity to allow you to create a page template and apply it to all posts as well. However, while creating grid templates for instance, there are custom elements such as “Post title” that are only available while creating a grid template but they will not show up in page templates. So I cannot seem to create a template and apply it to posts since there are no elements for the post meta data to use while building the template.
Is there a way I can create my own post template with Visual Composer?
The best option to create a post template is either by adding it manually via theme’s code/files or using other Visual Composer extension plugins that will enable you to create your own Post Template.
I looked all over VC for such an addon and there is none. The closest I could find is this page https://vc.wpbakery.com/addons/post-layout-addon/. But when you click the buy now button it redirects you to a post grid layout addon which already comes with the acoda theme.
The best option is manually edit the theme files or create a new post layout you’d prefer on a child theme.
