This is just a suggestion 🙂
Please, don’t deprecate the “divider” (shadow) element on dynamix, so it is really nice to visually structure contents, maybe doesn’t fits entirely in a “flat” design but this is in any case something for the user to decide, I tried to use the separator instead but it looks simply ugly.

I’ve no plans to remove it at this stage, but I wanted to deprecate it in place for the standard divider in VC. Like with most of the VC elements, I’m extend them and I could add the shadow option into the standard VC separator.September 20, 2015 at 7:15 am #84177
I was going to start a new topic but I think this exiting topic / forum refers to an issue I’ve just noticed.
I was trying to use Dividor_shadow_top & couldn’t find it. I went to an existing page to look at it and it stated, “You are using outdated element, it is deprecated since version 4.6.” – – Are you bringing this back? If not, can you make a custom css edit for us so we can keep it? It’s definitely a huge part of the design element of my site & I’d like to keep using it if possible. Let me know…

Will it still allow you to use it or is it displaying that message on the front-end? It should still allow you to use it, however if not I’ll bring it back.September 21, 2015 at 10:34 pm #84211
The option doesn’t come up at all when you’re creating a new page. I only knew that it wasn’t coming up because I was trying to figure out why I couldn’t find it, decided to look at a page that had it & went, “ah ha” – and when I tried to edit a page with it it said “You are using outdated element, it is deprecated since version 4.6.” So if you could bring it back so we can actually use it on new pages and/or add to existing pages that would be great!September 22, 2015 at 4:15 pm #84221
No problem, I’ll take a look at this. Is there a “Deprecated” tab when adding new elements? You should be able to add it via there.
Either way, I’ll ensure it’s working for the next version.September 22, 2015 at 4:51 pm #84230
Awesome – I saw the deprecated tab and it’s in there. As long as that works then I’m good…
