Hi There – I see from a few questions on the forum that the Drop Panel is populated by using widgets. I can only see two widget areas in my appreance-widget screen (Sidebar1 and Sidebar2). I see the Footer widgets content is populated on the Footer Settings pane – but the Header settings pane doesn't have a similar feature to enter widgets for the drop panel.

What am I missing here? How do I get a widget area for the drop panel to appear in the appearance – widget (far right hand side)?

And yes, the drop panel is enabled in the Header settings

    Thanks very much

    Hi,

    What version are you using?

Make sure in DynamiX General Settings you have Full Widget Footer / Drop Panel option enabled.

Had the same problem. WP ver. 3.5 and DynamiX 2.9.2.

No widget-boxes for drop panel, only Sidebar1 and 2.

Disabled, then enabled Full Widget Footer / Drop Panel option fixed it – got all widgets back 🙂

    Smashing theme, btw

    Thanks for your feedback! 🙂
