I am using the Scholarpress Courseware Plugin
The courseware should look like the following screenshot (screenshot with default Buddypress theme)
Here is what the courseware page looks like with Dynamix theme installed:
I have localized the conflict down to the dynamix theme…..
I don’t know what is causing the issue and so I figured I would seek some help via support…… any help is greatly appreciated! This plugin is central to the product I am building so I am needing these two to get along.
My apologies for the delay – it actually looks like the following bit of code in the DynamiX/functions.php is stripping the courseware CSS from working.
Edit the DynamiX/functions.php and remove the following lines
add_filter( ‘script_loader_src’, ‘_remove_script_version’, 15, 1 );
add_filter( ‘style_loader_src’, ‘_remove_script_version’, 15, 1 );
My apologies that didn’t work – I’ve taken a look at the plugin and within the BuddyPress settings there is an option to load the courseware CSS. You’ll need to download the plugin and copy the following CSS file into the DynamiX folder and upload to your server.
That should then do it.
I did as instructed….
I copied the courseware.css to the Dynamix theme directory file.
I enabled the courseware setting under Buddypress to load the courseware.css
I clear my cache and cookies and restarted my browser.
I loaded the local dev site and checked courseware and it still looks the same as before. Any idea why the courseware.css isn’t loading still?
I can only recommend you asking the plugin developers then – we’ve done exactly what the instructions say to do. From what I could make out, copying the courseware.css file to the Theme directory should work and enabling that option to initiate the courseware styling.
