    Hello there,

I need to take off the <h2 class=”description”> from the html for a SEO agency, they say it’s no good to have it cause it repaets on all pages. But I can’t find where it is, it’s not in the header.php. Can you let me know in which file I can remove it please? I don’t want to remove it with css, I want to directly delete it.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

You can switch it off via the Appearance > Theme Options > Display Tagline.

    Is that what you mean?

Can’t find this option, where exactly? And again I don’t think it’s gonna be good, as I said I don’t want a display none. I just need to know in which file I can delete the <h2 class=”description”> in the header.
    Thanks!

    Hi,

It won’t be a display none, it won’t render it at all. Sorry, I missed the “Header” part out – it’s within WP Admin > Appearance > Theme Options > Header > Display Tagline > Disable.

No I don’t have that kind of option, maybe because I bought the theme a long time ago. Can you just tell me which file it is please?
    Thanks

In that case, you should find it in ePix/lib/inc/config-header.php
