    hi there,

    if visitors enter the site with a wrong link the not found page comes up. There is a listing of ALL pages, linked in frontend or not. Every visitor can click throu and open all pages. Thats most confusing.

    Is there a way to disable the page tree and ony show the “Not found” text or an image or something?

    Thanks!

    Hi Oliver,

    To remove the list from the 404 page, you need to first edit the 404.php file under themes/ePix/404.php.

    Search and locate this code:

    <div class="list arrow grey">

      <?php wp_list_pages('title_li='); ?>
    </div>

    Remove that section, save and re-upload.

    Now when you navigate to a page that does not exist, just the 404 message will display and not the list of sites.

    You can always use a plugin like this for example.

    Hope this helps.

    Tom
