    Hello

I’ve been using the envato tool to update Dynamix since it is available. Everything worked fine up to now. The update from 3.05 to 3.1 stopped with the message: I cannot finish because the target folder ….dynymix already exists.

Usually I have this problem, when a non-wp-repository-plugin has to be updated manually (via ftp).

    Any solution?

    Hi Guys,

We apologise for the inconvenience. As the Author name has been changed to themeva and the Envato plugin doesn’t recognise the change.

There are 5 steps you will need to take to complete the update.

    1. Go to Appearance > Editor
    2. Select theme to edit > DynamiX
    3. Change Author: NorthVantage
    4. TO Author: themeva
    5. Update File and update the theme as normal

    Updating DynamiX 3.0.5

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,
    Tom

Hi – I changed the Author’s name to themeva, used the Envato update tool and it just gives me a blank wordpress page not the successful install prompt that you would usually get.

    Hi Rob,

Did the theme still install successfully? Please make sure you have entered themeva as all lower caps too.

    Kind regards,
    Tom

Hi Tom, it doesn’t update at all, just goes to a blank wordpress screen as per description above.

I am having the same problem as listed above. I did the following steps, but continue to have the message related to file already existing. Please advise of next steps.
