    Hi there. With the latest update I’ve noticed the footer infinitely scrolls. http://uschurchlaw.com
    Could you please help fix this issue?
    Thank you.

    I think this may have something to do with having a header.php file in the child theme. This is only happening on another site that has this file too. Thanks.

    Hi Will,

    I see what you mean, the header has changed a little the last few versions. Can you upload a zipped version of your child header.php file ( you can upload to your server and i’ll confirm once I’ve downloaded it ). I’ll see if I can spot anything that maybe affecting it.

    Thinking about it, one way we could overcome the issue is to set a minimum height via CSS on the footer, that maybe the easier solution?

    Try:

    #primary-wrapper #footer-wrap {min-height:0 !important;}

    Great, I will use the css if we cannot find the root of the issue, but if possible I’d like to know what the cause of this is? Here is the header.php file: http://uschurchlaw.com/wp-content/uploads/header.txt

    Hi Will,

    I believe it’s because your header.php is missing the DIV tag : <div class="site-inwrap clearfix"> – it should go directly under this line: <div id="primary-wrapper" <?php echo 'class="nv-'. $inner_skin .'"'; ?>>

    If you’ve modified the footer too, you’ll need to close the DIV tag in there too.
