I'm quite new to WordPress and the DynamiX Theme. Il would like to know if it would be possible to set a Frontpage when accessing my homepage, before actually seeing my homepage … I made a nice page in Photoshop …
I hope you know what i mean 😉 any suggestions?
Do you mean this ?
Hi, thanks for the reply.
No i don't mean the actual frontpage setting. With Frontpage, i ment a "Entering Page" before you actually see the WordPress site. So you connect to http://www.muus-photos.net an then you'll would see a design page witch i made in Photoshop. To enter the blog you would need to click in the image. So this first page would be like a link on my website … It's quite difficult to explain 🙂
I read something about putting this image into a index.php file so that wordpress would open that one first.
Ok i figured it out 🙂
I installed WordPress on the root dir of my FTP, then installed the DynamiX theme.
Then i created a new Folder on "root" called Images with my background image for the "pre-site".
Then i wrote a html file an placed it also on the root dir.
<a href="http://muus-photos.net/Wordpress/index.php"><img src="http://muus-photos.net/Images/Muus-Photos.jpg" width="100%" height="100%" style="border:none;" />
So the background links to the index.php from wordpress.
This works just fine 🙂
Thanks for closing this topic and the fast response 🙂
