    Hi Guys

I have had multiple issues with my site not tracking correctly on Google Analytics and google have advised when we use the plugin the code isn’t correctly placed in the <head> tag which makes causes issues between my analytics and awords accounts. Any advice?

    Hi got this from Google:

    Hi Callum,

Niall here from Google Adwords. Just a quick email regarding our chat last week, I can see you contacted a colleague regarding the coding issue.

On checking your site I can see the code is still not placed correctly. If you do not have control of where the code goes on the site I would suggest contacting wordpress.

I understand they use PHP implementation, I cannot see any evidence of that being placed correctly either.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.

    Sincerely,

    Niall

    Hi Callum,

Are you placing the code generated into Appearance > Theme Options > Header > Tracking Code?

Hi Andy – I did and they advised it wasn’t at the end of the <head> tag so I tried php implementation and that also isn’t correct google said.

    Hi Callum,

I can assure you it is. Here is a screenshot of the code:

Has the header.php file been modified in anyway?
