I've got the correct URL placed in the post image source location, but for some reason the images are not being found when called up by the post as a thumbnail or from within the post. When I place the image url in the post body it displays properly in the post but still not as a thumbnail for the video.
When I disable timthumb the thumbnail works in the grid gallery, and shows up at the top of the post. When I re-enable the script the thumbnails do not work again. However another post that has no video but images in the same grid gallery, the thumbnail works and opens the image in lightbox. Additionally when I look at the code created by wordpress and the theme with timthumb enabled, the image link appears to be correct.
Sure. The image path for the "Fire and Incident Mapping" post is:
Although I tried uploading the image to the website server and no luck there.
The page where this is occuring is:
FYI, I have not taken the time to update the video and thumbnail URLs for all posts, just "Fire and Incident Mapping" and "High Altitude Surveillance". That's why there's so many blank spots in the grid gallery currently.
That was the issue.
Thank you so much for setting me on the right path! I'd been tearing my hair out.
The documentation at http://www.binarymoon.co.uk/2010/08/timthumb-part-2-external-websites/ was simple and easy to follow.
The page where the videos are not loading into prettyPhoto is:
An example of a post where the video is loading into prettyPhoto:
The URL of the video placed in the post video content dialog is:
Also the link URL is fixed:
As a double-check I put 'content.bitsontherun.com/videos/' in the allowed directory dataset for timthumb.
Have you tried entering the full URL of what it is when the video is loaded ie. – I think because the video is re-directing it's not working.
I've swapped out the redirect for the actual video link URL in the post and seen no change in the results on the demo-videos page. I made sure to clear the cache. Any other things I could try?
Again, the Prettyphoto works just fine on the video hidden in an iFrame in the post itself. I'm using the bitsontherun shortcode there.
Have you tried another video? Try this for example, this will show whether jw player is working properly or not http://1.s3.envato.com/files/9283020/Preview_Video.flv
