My client would like to prevent sites like this from being able to discover the parent theme name of my Dynamix child theme:

    http://whatwpthemeisthat.com/

What is the best way to accomplish this without losing any of the customization I’ve done to the child theme?

I realize that this will probably cut the theme off from automatic updates but the client is OK with that.

Do I simply re-name the parent folder and change the child style.css file?

    Hi Seth,

From what I see, it looks like they are scraping the information from the theme details at the top of the theme’s style.css.

All you need to do is update the current information to anything you want then test the site using http://whatwpthemeisthat.com/

I tested my own site by changing the Theme Name and it worked when I tested the site on http://whatwpthemeisthat.com/

    Thanks!
