    Hi,

I need to add a link or button in a text box to open a pop-up window. Ideally the content of this pop-up would be an existing element created with Visual Composer (like a row with a single image, and a text block).

As a workaround, I’ve been trying Modal Window plugin but, after create a pop-up item, when inserting the generated shortcode ([Wow-Modal-Windows id=1]) the page doesn’t work.

Any idea to solve this without code programming?

    Thank you.

    Hi @jordipalou

There are a few Visual Composer add-ons you can use to achieve the pop-up. Here are examples:
    https://vc.wpbakery.com/addons/lime-popup-toolkit/
    https://vc.wpbakery.com/addons/popups-notifications/
    https://codecanyon.net/item/modal-popup-box-for-visual-composer/7155037

For the ‘Modal Window plugin’ that you used, we are not quite familiar with it, so it is best to coordinate with the plugin’s support team on how to make this work.

Can you send over your login your login credentials so we can check if we can figure it out from our end?

    Hi @jordipalou

I am quite confused with how the page was set up, so I created a new page and added the Modal Window and it is here:
    http://globalroom.org/index.php/testing-modal-window/

The option to click a link and reveal the modal Window is only available on the Pro version of this plugin.

    Regards,
