    Hello,

IE is messing with our theme (YOU).
We’re having issues with .js files in IE. Sometimes it does load, mostly it doesn’t.

    Issues we’re encountering:

    #1
    Error: ieDefineFailed
    {
    [functions]: ,
    description: “ieDefineFailed”,
    info: 0,
    message: “ieDefineFailed”,
    name: “Error”,
    src: “dojoLoader”
    }

Sometimes this error appears 3x. Sometimes just once.
A solution for this error is impossible to find. However it doesn’t seem to influence how the website works.
With only this error we find that the template is working properly.

    #2:
SCRIPT438: De eigenschap of methode masonry wordt niet ondersteund door dit object
(Dutch – translation: The property of the method masonry is not supported by this object)
    vc_grid.min.js (1,13891)

Soft refresh (F5) does not solve this issue. Hard refresh (CTRL+F5) does solve this issue.
This issue makes the website not work properly. Data from the VC Grid Builder is not displayed when this error occurs.

We already disabled Contact 7 form plugin which also gave us issues. It stated that “this.ajaxForm” was not defined.
This seemd to help a bit. But still the websites makes up it’s own mind each time we open a page.

    Any ideas?

I read about issues on the forum, not sure if this topic has been spotted. There are moderator reactions at other topics, so a friendly reminder here.

    Hi @boozd2012

Can you send over your site’s URL and login credentials so we can check and test this from our end?

    Hi @boozd2012

Can you please specify which page you saw these errors and how you tested them? I tried to use IE’s console on the homepage and I do not see any errors as of the moment.

    Regards

    Hi @boozd2012

I have sent a reply to the other ticket you opened: http://acoda.com/forums/topic/ie-issues/

Please reply to that ticket only so we can easily keep track this issue.

The issues are very random. Sometimes it does work – sometimes it doesn’t.
    Pages it occures:
    http://preview.meyertotaal.nl/

    The blog and actions :
    http://preview.meyertotaal.nl/blog/
    http://preview.meyertotaal.nl/acties-en-aanbiedingen/

    This page..
    http://preview.meyertotaal.nl/keukens/keukenstijlen/

So basicly throughout the site. With a F5 the issues mostly disappear.

    Hi @boozd2012

I have tested multiple times and I still do not see the issue so it will be tough for us to check on the issue further.

Please try to monitor the issue and if it does recur, please send us screenshots so we can check and investigate on the issue.

Wonder how you checked, it’s hard not to notice the errors.

    Hi @boozd2012

I did check it under the Console tab on IE’s debugger before and did not see the issue. I tried now and I see the errors.

Before we look into this further, can you please first update your theme and Visual Composer? While you are at it, updating all your plugins and your WP core is best as well.

    Thanks!
