Hi Andy, I have a Home page mirrored off your tutorial. I would like to, however, use some rather large images in my 3d gallery. I am uploading images in a Gallery Slide Set that are 940px by 500px, and I've adjusted the image height to 500 in the additional settings (all galleries).

The issue is that the image is being centered vertically, thus encroaching into my Nav bar up top.  How can I have larger height images that don't infringe on my nav, but rather just take up more space below, pushing everything else down?

    Thanks!

    Hey Marty,

You can increase the Gallery Height value in Additional Settings. Add about 50px more than the image height and should do the trick.

    Andy,

As you can see at http://www.martinrayvaughan.com, I've reverted back to the standard height until I figure this out. I went in to additional settings and raised the standard 3d gallery height by 50px (to 400px) just to see if this created a little room between my current images and the nav and it did not. Even without changing the images you see there now, the started to bleed into the nav area.

Is there a way to just completely protect the nav area and ensure that any additional image heights would take up space below?

I was inspired by http://getpocket.com/ , when I decided to go larger with my images on the home page.

    Cheers mate,

    Marty

This is just a fast test (the shadows are images, not css as in getpocket site), as for the gallery, find out what is the size you need (use photoshop or whatever) and then edit the width in style.css in (for instance) .stage-slider-wrap, .stage-slider, .stage-slider .panel and .stage-slider .panel-inner
