    Hi Tom,

    What is in the latest theme update? I didn’t see the info. in the change log & wanted to make sure what to look for before updating. LMK. Thanks!

    Hi James,

    You can always find the change log in the ThemeForest download zip file > DynamiX WordPress > changelog.txt. However, I’ve updated the changelog on ThemeForest too now.

    I just did the update & it broke the slideset for the main page (http://JamesWantsToKnowYou.com). The first item in the slideset is a vimeo video. Any idea what’s happening?

    I just contacted GoDaddy & I’m unable to do a roll-back to the back-up from yesterday (it does automatic back-ups every day) – but their system is down. I have a marketing email going out to everyone in 3 hours to go to the site – I’m hoping you’re getting this messages in real-time and can fix the issue ASAP! Can you call me? I can send you my # in a private message if need be.

    I was finally able to get Godaddy to roll it back to the previous version. I won’t update until you tell me you’ve fixed the issue with the slideset on the main page video issue. Basically it was doing the same thing that happened before when you did a theme update – not displaying the video. If i recall from the last time you mentioned it was a problem with the width or height but it was a while back, I don’t specifically recall…

    Hi James,

    Sorry that happened to you. I can’t think what might have caused that issue – the version isn’t too different from v4.2.3.

    In fact, the slide sets were not touched at all. Could it have been a caching issue?

    I’m going to test with a vimeo video on the test servers and see what results it produces.

    Hi Andy-

    Sorry for the reply – I was flying across country & just got to my hotel. No, not a caching issue. I’m not sure what the problem was either but I do know it was a problem. 🙂 If you want to check it out between 1am & say 4am PST any day (that’s probably the best time when no one is surfing my site) I can provide you the login details to look around & try the update. But I can’t do the update until we figure out what happened since a video is on my main page…

    I’ve tested this and experienced the same issue. I’m going to fix for the next version which is due out in the next few days.

    Just checking in with you to see if the update has been made yet? I didn’t think it had but wanted to make sure as I haven’t done anything to this since the last issue we discussed. Let me know…

    Hi James,

    I’m still rolling out the update. Visual Composer made some big changes and I’m making sure the theme works with them. Shouldn’t be too long now before I get the next version out and it will resolve the issue above too.

    Great! I was getting a bit nervous with all of the “security” messages I keep saying so happy to hear you’ll be rolling it out soon. If you’d like to test it on my site before you push it out let me know. More than happy to have you do so between 12a – 3a PST when few folks are browsing the site…

    Hi James,

    The new update is out now. I’m hoping it’ll be fine with the issue you were having. There are a number of changes, so it’s worth ensuring your browser cache is cleared.
