I am creating a website for a customer which makes use of a Blog as well as portfolios. No one else of my customers ever had a Blog, so it is only now, that I discover something strange:
Is it true, that any changes to the blog layout also apply to portfolios? How can I change that behaviour, it doesn’t make any sense to me at all (E.g. with Blogs you want Meta data, with portfolios you usually don’t).

    Thanks

    Hi,

At this stage they are both the same as essentially they are posts, I will make of note of this, technically it shouldn’t have the meta data in.

    Kind regards,
    Tom

Maybe it would make sense (and is possible?), to simply copy the whole “Blog” tab in the Theme options settings and reuse it for portfolios as “Portfolios”. As far as I can see every single setting on that tab would be great to have for portfolios separately.

I will suggest this to Andy but I don’t think it is as simple as it sounds.

    Kind regards,
    Tom
