    Hi Support,

    I previously noted that lightbox is not working correctly on mobile (the viewer see’s both the real image and the light box image, which is confusing). You mentioned you are ware and that will be addressed). Thanks.

    I’m creating this support ticket as we are also having issues with lightbox in desktop. Similar issue, when the lightbox is open its still possible to see through to the underlying image and image title, the arrows keep moving and its hard to see the ‘X’ close lightbox icon.

    Please see illustration of these issues here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16871138/You-theme-lightbox.png

    And an example of a lightbox without these issues here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16871138/Example-light-box.png

    Can you let me know if these desktop and mobiel light box issues and improevemtns can be fixed in the next relase of You Theme. If so, when will that likely be.

    Thanks very much!

    Hi @henry_nesbitt

    Can you please resend your site URL and login credentials so I can personally check this? There is a bug on the forum and I can’t see your old topics.

    Thanks!

    Hi @henry_nesbitt

    Kindly use this CSS code to fix the issue:

    .fancybox-lock .fancybox-overlay {
        background-color: #ffffff !important;
    }

    Hi

    I’ve just taken a look using the CSS code fix. The white background on the lightbox looks good (tahnk you) but there are now no < (left) or > (right) arrows for navigating between images (which is confusing) and the images don’t slide / phase in the kind of jump in (looks a bit odd).

    Please can you add some way to move through the images and to make them move from one image to another in more uniform way.

    Thank you.

    Hi @henry_nesbitt

    Please use this CSS code to set the color of the arrows to black.

    .fancybox-next span:before {
        color: #000000;
    }
    .fancybox-prev span:before {
        color: #000000;
    }

    Thank you – client is now very happy with how things work on desktop. Desktop is done.

    Regarding mobile, the site is not currently useable. Can you take a quick look at this illustration and advise if / how these issues can be resolved:

    Thanks

    Hi @henry_nesbitt

    The background issue on the lightbox is still being looked into by the developer which is also related to the latest issue you sent.

    The space on the left and right of the lightbox image is due to the navigation arrows. This should not be an issue once the fix to the lightbox image background is implemented.

    I have followed up with the developer regarding the issue and we will get back to you once we have more information on this.

    Hi Support,

    Can you provide an eta on this update / fix? Some idea of the number of days / weeks to fix will be helpful.

    Thanks

    Hi @henry_nesbitt

    As of the moment there is no ETA but I have made a follow-up with the developer.

    I’ll get back to you once I receive an update from him.

    Hi Support,

    The lightbox is working better now – thank you very much.

    However, the arrows / title text below the image are still overlapping to the point the mobile site is not usable. This issue due to the custom CSS applied to correct issues in the desktop site. Is there any thing that can be done to fix the issue when view in mobile?

    You can see an example of the issue by clicking on this link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zedbchvq2sajqca/acoda-illustration.png?dl=0

    Or you can check out the site in mobile: http://www.sofialeitao.info

    Thanks

    Hi @henry_nesbitt

    The best option is to move the navigation arrows at the top of the image which I did.

    Can you please check if that looks better for you?

    Thanks!
