    Hi,

    I have used a text widget with to create a list on our front page 3rd footer.  Here is the code I am using to test:

    • test
    • Lorem Ipsum
    • Lorem Ipsum

    The link to the page is: sculpins.org

    You will see that the arrow appears twice when there is an hyperlink.  Why is that?  I cannot figure it out.

    Regards,

    found out by trial and error that you need to change <ul> to <ol>

    Thanks Patrick, I’ll take a look at why the double arrow appears – it maybe that if you remove the surrounding shortcode it will work okay?

    Hi I did find a solution but I do not know if it normal that I need to do the change, I changed

      <ul>

      <li><a href=”http://www.tbgc.org”>Troy Boys and Girls Club</a></li>
      <li><a href=”http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synchronized_swimming”>Synchronized swimming – Wiki</a></li>
      <li><a href=”http://www.fina.org/”>FINA</a></li>
      </ul>

    to

      <ol>
      <li><a href=”http://www.usasynchro.org”>USA Synchro</a></li>
      <li><a href=”http://www.tbgc.org”>Troy Boys and Girls Club</a></li>
      <li><a href=”http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synchronized_swimming”>Synchronized swimming – Wiki</a></li>

    That’s fine and no issue using that. The reason for the double is that by default lists with links in will display with an arrow and then you have placed a shortcode with arrows in too.
