Media library is refusing to play nicely with my installation of Dynamix and won't show me any thumbnails. I've rummaged around on the web and the only advice I could see was that the theme is causing the problem. On this thread the user blamed white space in his functions.php.
Have also tried using 'Add from Server' and got the same problem. Any ideas?
Hi Andy – I'm using a clean install of v2.8. I originally started on the site about a month ago, but was only able to return to it in dribs and drabs – afraid I haven't logged all my changes.
I've just tried overwriting both functions.php and custom-functions.php with 'virgin' copies from the original download just in case, but the problem remains. Since noticing the problem I have modified the php files related to posts, to prevent them showing 'no comments' as the items won't have commenting enabled. Looks like the rest of the timestamps date from my original installation from mid-April. The main WP installation has been upgraded since I started building the test site, so I think they are all clean files.
Any ideas which other files I should try looking at?
FIXED – I went ahead and migrated all my files from my test server to production tonight and everything has miraculously appeared as it should do. Apart from the relative paths being different, the only thing I can think of is that the fact that my test server had a user/password login. Wonder if that was blocking it? Anyway, it doesn't seem to have been a DynamiX issue… good news all round. Cheers, Laurie
