Hi, is there .pot file distributed with DynamiX theme? I could not find any in zip package.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi Pavel,

No there isn’t, there is a .po and .mo, you can easily translate your site with a translation plugin. For translation, please see the documentation here.

    Hope that helps.

    Kind regards,
    Tom

Yes, but I am using offline software Poedit (plugin is not very good for work and needs too much PHP memory) and without .pot file is not possible to update my .po files. All plugins and themes usually bundle also actual .pot file. Thank you for your help!

    Hi Pavel,

I’m not too much of an expert in the translation process, but I am able to use Poedit with the .po file and edit the translations?

Yes, sure, I can edit translations, but problem is with updating. I had older translated .po file and there is no chance to update it without actual .pot file (which contains all new strings and changes). I can try to scan source code, but standard way is usually .pot file bundled with theme or plugin.

    Hi Pavel,

Thanks for the information – the reason I removed it was because it help both BuddyPress and Theme translations in when I created it.

I’m going to have to recreate it again properly, for the time being you could use this old version of it.
