I have been unable to get visual composer editor to load after I upgraded to the latest version of wordpress. I reverted back to the previous version with no luck.

    Hi @fscbmwcca

I have logged in to your site and the Visual Composer Editor works without any issues on existing posts/pages and on new ones.

Can you please recheck from your end and send us screenshots if the issue persists?

There used to be an icon to make text larger, white, highlight, etc. was that eliminated? How can I increase the text size? There isn’t even an icon for that?
    Thanks for checking…

    Hi @fscbmwcca

Do you have a screenshot of that specific icon because we are not sure what icon you are referring to?

If you are using a Textbox element, you should have a drop-down that you can use to increase/decrease the font size.

Also, if you can specify the text you want to increase on which page, we can personally check it for you.

Here is a screen shot of my text screen https://s15.postimg.org/o787xjsez/texteditor.png
As you can see there isn’t a drop down for text size. I know I can do this in html what then why do I have a fancy editor.

There used to be another drop down, i can’t remember what it was called but it had options to make text bigger, bold, white, shadow a bunch of options. I don’t remember anymore details.

    Hoping you can help…

Here I found a reference http://wpexplorer-themes.com/total/docs/editor-styles/ I think it was called “formats”
Note that my screen doesn’t show Font Sizes or Font Family drop down. Shortcodes is not there either…

Thats what I am having. Visual composer is actually not showing the drag and drop “Composer” on the page editor.

    Hi @fscbmwcca

The dropdown for paragraph will help increase the font size, but it will make the texts as ‘headers’. I have personally checked my site running an older version of WordPress and the Visual Editor looks the same and I also do not remember having that dropdown for the past years.

If you have screenshot of that specific dropdown, then we can check further for you. That could be from an editor plugin you have used before.

    Thanks!

Did you take a look at the page I referenced? Here I found a reference http://wpexplorer-themes.com/total/docs/editor-styles/ I think it was called “formats”

Do I need to install a plugin to show these options?

    Hi @cbritton & @fscbmwcca

Your 2 most recent replies came before I sent my last reply but I totally missed it as I had the ticket open before the 2 replies came in. My apologies for the mix-up.

@cbritton please send over your site’s login credentials so we can personally check this for you from our end.

@fscbmwcca is it fine if you open new support ticket to avoid any confusion moving forward?

On the last screenshot you sent though, http://wpexplorer-themes.com/total/docs/editor-styles/ those dropdowns, ‘Font sizes’ and ‘Font Family’ are specific to their theme, not Dynamix. They particularly mentioned this on the first sentence “In this theme we have enabled some additional options in your post editor”.

For the ‘Formats’ dropdown, I tried to disable all your plugins and saw that the ‘Formats’ dropdown reappeared and also the Toggle Toolbar, so it looks like one of your plugins is not compatible with WP 4.6 and it’s breaking the editor. Please disable all your plugins and enable them one by one to check which plugin is causing the issue.

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

    Hi @cbritton

The Visual Composer Editor seems to be working fine on other pages, except on Home (on the pages I checked). Can you please try to disable all your plugins, except Visual Composer, to check if any of the plugins could be causing the issue?

    Thanks!
