    getting a malformed url on those light boxes example:

    http://theirategamer.com/irate-gamer-fan-art-gallery/

    the images in the lightboxes are broken links such as:

    http://theirategamer.comhttp//theirategamer.gotgame.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/17/2013/07/fanart36.jpg

    if you click the images they popups do have the correct url.

    edit: this is the group slider on a page

    Hi Ben,

    Your images are on a different domain and this maybe causing the issue.

    Please try disabling the image resizer under Appearance > Theme Options > General > Image resizer > OFF

    Do the images now show with it disabled? If they do, remove the following code below.

    DynamiX/lib/adm/functions/BFI_Thumb.php

    Remove this section of code:

    		// check if path is already relative
    		if(strpos( $url, $site_url ) === false) {
    			if( strpos( $site_url . $url, $upload_url ) !== false ) {
    				$url = $site_url . $url;
    			}
    		}

    Then re-enable the image resizer and check again. If the images do not show, please report back to us for another fix.

    Kind regards,
    Tom

    yup worked like charm thanks! wouldn’t that happen on any multisite situation with domain mapping enabled? also if this fix going to be implemented in future versions or should i make notes to modify any updates? thanks again this probably the most robust and fully featured theme i had ever worked with.

    Hi Ben,

    Glad it worked. Andy is going to potentially put in a check to see if multisites enabled and hopefully this will resolve it. Make notes for the time being as we have just released a new update but after that Andy is going to look into putting in a fix.

    Thank you for the great feedback.

    Kind regards,
    Tom

    Hi Ben,

    I kept the script in, unfortunately I haven’t had a proper chance to test this with multi-sites. I’m making note of this to do, please remove the same code section in the latest version.

    Ben I can only apologise, I have done more tests and I need to re-write the code above. That code needs to be there for relative paths, it detects if the domain name is missing, if it is, it adds it. The issue you’re experiencing is that you’re using an external URL for some images and therefore it detects your domain is not present in the URL and adds it, however this creates an invalid URL.

    I’ll be working on this this week and will test with you, if that’s okay?

    Hi Ben,

    I believe I resolved it. Try replacing the following code ( same file : DynamiX/lib/adm/functions/BFI_Thumb.php )

    // check if path is already relative
    if(strpos( $url, $site_url ) === false) {
    if( strpos( $site_url . $url, $upload_url ) !== false ) {
    $url = $site_url . $url;
    }
    }

    with:

    // check if path is already relative
    if(strpos( $url, $site_url ) === false && strpos( $url, 'http://' ) === false )
    {
    if( strpos( $site_url . $url, $upload_url ) !== false )
    {
    $url = $site_url . $url;
    }
    }
