I want to use next-previous link of the portfolio to works only within same category of portfolio…
I try to change it by myself but it is not working:
    https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/previous_post_link

I try to change php file using <?php previous_post_link(‘%link’, ‘Previous in category’, TRUE); ?> but it is not working
Could you give me proper code for this?

    Hi @akartstudio

Our apologies for the delayed reply.

I have forwarded this to the developer to check if there is any workaround to this.

    Any news?

Our apologies for the delayed update.

I will ask for another update from the developer. He’s currently swamped with pending updates for the Themes.

    Hi @akartstudio,

    Andy here.

My apologies for the delay on this, I’ve struggled to find time to take a look. I believe I’ve now found a solution.

    The code needed was:

    next_post_link( '<span class="alignright">%link &rarr;</span>', '%title', TRUE, ' ', 'portfolio_category' );

    Did you changed function-core.php?

    Yes, it works 🙂

What to do to make that you-theme could read functions-core.php file and another files from “themes/you-child” theme directory
    Now it wasn’t
It only read file from “themes/you” directory

    Hi @akartstudio,

Yes that is the file that was updated.

Can you please try to move a copy of functions-core.php to yur child theme and check if that works for you?

As I’ve wrote – I HAVE this file in child theme but no matter what I change in it – nothing changes on website
Active theme on my website – you-child. It seems child theme don’t work in case of functions-core.php file.

    Hi @akartstudio

    Thanks for the follow-up.

I have forwarded this to Andy to check. I will get back to you once I have an update from him.

    Regards,
