    Hi Andy,

Since the last update it is not possible to add tabs, tours, etc with the VC. I updated everything, but the functions are gone. It’s very important for me, because my shop on my website is based on tours and tabs: http://floriansbassunterricht.de/download-archiv/
Also: I do not have a TAB called “Design Options” in the settings of the VC. But I think that is supposed to be there…
Revolution Slider is also a mess after the update…
    Please help! Thanks a lot!
    Kind regards,
    Florian

    Hi Andy,

    I found the solution.
Very weird, but you have to activate the functions you want to use in VC.

    Hi Florian,

Someone else had this lately – I’m not sure if you were using a previous theme which de-activated them.

    Is Revolution Slider okay now?

    Hi Andy,

everything is up to date. But the Rev. slider was a mess. Everything was in full width. I had to change the grids.
But the Visual Composer was even worse! They just discontinued some of my main functions (tabs, etc.) as they wore. The functions still exist, but I had to build everything new and use the “new” tab and the “new” devider, etc. What a nonsense! A whole day of work and rebuilding my site, even it was working perfectly. When making updates, make them smooth!

    Hi Florian,

I think WP 4.3 destroyed a few other deprecated VC elements too. I have no control over this unfortunately and sorry to hear you’ve had to update them all.

I’m about to release a new update which has a Revolution Slider update ( fixes the WP 4.3 issue ). If you’re desperate for it now, you can download it from http://acoda.com/tmp/revslider.zip.

Bless you, Florian, for figuring out how to activate the replacement VC elements. We were really scratching our heads over that! We share your frustration over having to rebuild so many pages because of these changes. Not sure when it will all get done…
