    Hi Andy,

I am trying to optimize my site to use a CDN. I have W3 Total cache setup and working fine with the CDN. In doing page load test from various parts of the world I noticed that the timthumb doesn’t take advantage of the CDN.

    1. I found the following article and was wondering if you can take a look. I’d like to know where I would find the calls as specified in Step 2 of the article http://wordpress-tips4all.blogspot.ca/2012/08/optimization-timthumb-for-cdn.html

    2. Have you ever setup a DynamiX themed site with a CDN? If yes, do you have any recommendations & do’s/don’t?

    Thanks

    Rob

    Hi Rob,

That script would need to be placed into your .htaccess file which resides on your server. Your hosting should be able to help you with that.

I haven’t personally, you do not have to use timthumb, it can be disabled via General Settings, however you’ll have to manually resize the images yourself.
