  • Hi,

If I search for “facebook” in search field (right sidebar), the result shows 55 posts but just one page. There’s no paginating of my whole result. Test it here https://www.socialmedialernen.com/medienpraevention/smartphones-machen-ihre-nutzer-depressiv/

The second issue is that the search of the drop panel doesn’t work. Just enter “facebook” as search item and click on the loup sign with your mouse. Nothing happens. Only if you hit enter on the keyboard, the search works.

    Thorsten

    Hi Thorsten,

I apologise about that, there is a slight bug. Please replace DynamiX/search.php with the following file: ( unzip )

    http://help.themeva.com/tmp/search.php.zip

I couldn’t replicate that Thorsten, it works fine for me. Are you using the latest version and have you cleared the cache too?

    Hi Andy,

I tested again through all browsers. Only with Firefox it works. Could it be that it has to do with my 4k display? I started a new thread because of an issue I ascertained. See http://help.themeva.com/groups/dynamix-support/forum/topic/4k-displays-have-an-impact-to-your-theme-or-the-other-way-around/

    Hi Thorsten,

It seemed to be on PC’s that it wasn’t working. Mac browsers were okay. I’ve now resolve the issue. Please replace DynamiX/js/nv-script.pack.js with the following file:

    http://help.themeva.com/tmp/dynamix/nv-script.pack.js.zip ( unzip )

    Hi Andy,

Does not work for me on Opera, Safari, Chrome and IE – just works on Firefox and Maxthon Cloud Browser. Deleted Cache and Cookies after updating the nv-script.js

    Best Regards,
    Thorsten

    Hi Thorsten,

This is very strange, the files are identical on your server and my test one and i’ve tested on browserstack and they’re working fine on my test server but not yours. I’m wondering if a plugin is now interfering? Can you try disabling plugins to see if that has an affect please, thanks.

    Hi Andy,

I deactivated all plugins but the effect didn’t change. I suppose it has to do with my 4K display, see http://help.themeva.com/groups/dynamix-support/forum/topic/4k-displays-have-an-impact-to-your-theme-or-the-other-way-around/ but I’m not sure.

    Hi Thorsten,

Can you try the search on your machine on this development site please, http://devserver.northvantage.co.uk – if it works, it’s something with your current setup which is preventing it from working.

    Hi Andy,

thank you. I’ve found the issue. I used in “Drop Panel Column 1” your widget “NorthVantage Contact Form” and in “Drop Panel Column 2” the widget “BuddyPress Login”. After this I deleted “NorthVantage Contact Form” in Panel Column 1 and switched the “BuddyPress Login” in Panel Column 2 to Panel Column 1. Now it works in all browsers as it should.

On your developer page you just entered a text within the Panel Columns. So I suppose it happens if you use a form widget in Panel Column 2.

    Can you agree?

You can test on my site http://www.socialmedialernen.com (works now).

    Best Regards,
    Thorsten

Chrome browser is the only browser it doesn’t work for now.

    Hi Thorsten,

I’ve tested with Browserstack on both PC and Mac and it works in Chrome for me ( on your site ).
