I don’t know if this issue is documented. If I read a published post on my site it happens normally that the post image has the width of 640px. That’s fine and ok, see screenshot http://www.screencast.com/t/cBbwomijhMVC.
But sometimes the image re-sizes itself to a width of 400px, see screenshot http://www.screencast.com/t/ohDuWaZliaY4.
Do you know why this happen?
Thanks for answering my question.
Does anything change on the page for this to happen? I.e is the browser window size any different? Do you use a cache plugin on your site? If so, I recommend flushing it along with your browser cache to get a true representation of your site. It might be displaying different sized images for different browsers.
If you are still having issues, please provide the URL of the page in questions and I will take a further look for you.
each post is as before, no change. And you’r right, I use Cachify as cache plugin and I supposed it could have to do with it, but don’t know why it re-sizes to 400px. In each broswer is the size the same, except if the browser cache exists with a 640px image before.
Does this information help you?

I deleted the browser cache of Firefox but the 400px size still exists.
With Internet Explorer I jumped directly to the page, the image hast the right size of 640px. I deleted the browser cache, no error and no issue. So it works fine.
Same effects with Opera and Safari.
