Hi, I’ve created a footer template with Visual Composer but it has responsive issues when displayed on tablets. The full-size desktop and mobile versions are working fine.

Would you be able to take a look?

    Thanks

    Hi @phongbui

Can you please send over your site’s URL and login credentials so we can personally check on this from our end?

    Hi @phongbui

AS I checked, I see that you added the “footer” using Visual Composer on the page.

The theme actually already comes with Widget Areas for the footer where you can add each of the content you added to the content now. You can see it here: http://210.245.115.51/wp-admin/widgets.php

It is best to use this since this is responsive by default.

    Hi,

I’ve tried adding the widgets into the Footer column 1, 2, 3, and 4. But somehow the widget’s don’t show up on site.

Also, how do I change the font weight? I’ve tried adding it in the custom CSS, but it doesn’t seem to work.

    Hi @phongbui

Your footer is not displaying because you actually disabled it. You can see it under Appearance > Theme Options > Footer.

For the font-weight, which specific text do you want to update? Can you please specify so we can check?

    Hi @phongbui

You can change the background of the lower footer via Appearance > Customize > Footer

As for the text edit issue, if you want to make a text bolder, you just have to edit the page then edit the text block.

    Hi,

For the background of the footer, I meant the lower footer. I can edit the colors of the Footer. But there’s no separate rows for the lower footer, the part for the copyright, etc.

So I would want to make the top footer to be gray and the lower footer to be in black. Is that possible?

    Thanks

    Hi @phongbui

I checked your site and it shows the correct colors already for both lower and upper footer. You may clear your browser’s cache and check again your site.

Anyway, I tested it in your Dashboard and was able to change colors of the footer for lower and upper.

As mentioned on my previous reply, you can change it via Appearance > Customize > Footer > Background Color (top) & Background Color (bottom)

    Sorry, I don’t get you.

The colors are still not the same as the one I have for the “footer” that used the visual composer. https://www.dropbox.com/s/8xrlpaow1yeukum/Capture.JPG?dl=0

The closest I could get to is this:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/dh1x87rhp4612hh/Capture2.JPG?dl=0

Where the background of the footer is the same, but any changes to the color of the Lower Footer changes the color of the entire footer. And it changes the background as a gradient, not as a different element. I’m also not able to center the Copyright text in the center of the Lower Footer.

    Hi @phongbui

I have added CSS to make the Copyright area of the theme to look like what you did in Visual Composer. Please turn off the Lower Footer in Theme Options and check your site.

    Hi,

I’ve since solved the issue of the form not functioning by adding this line of code together with the custom submit form

    <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.2.1/jquery.min.js"></script>

However, it seems there’s a clash against all other animations, including the revolution slider.

    How should I solve it?

    Thanks
