    Hello,

Man I am not sure what happened, and it has been hell trying to get support from Envato or the maker of Revolution Slider, but I don’t know where else to go for help.

I am using your theme with revolution slider, I have never had a problem before that I couldn’t overcome but I can’t fix whatever broke recently.

I think it was from an Automatic WordPress update but I don’t know what to do to get the Revolution Slider working on my homepage.

Please look at http://www.linexelcajon.com and tell me what I need to do to fix the slider?

If you need to login I can PM you the information you would need.

    Hi,

Can you post your WP login details ( Click the Set as private reply ) and I’ll take a look for you. Before then, have you updated the plugin as per these instructions: http://acoda.com/troubleshooting-guide/

O.k. So I went through the update procedure, but it ends up takign me to:

    http://www.themepunch.com/faq/update-plugin-packaged-theme/

    Which states:

“Contact your theme’s author and ask them to send you a copy of the latest version of the plugin. This will be a “zip” file named “revslider.zip”.”

I don’t recall receiving this from you?

I am currently on Theme 5.04.

Do you need to email me an updated version or can I go download it from somewhere?

Hold up just went through again and noticed this:

The latest version of the Revolution Slider is within the theme folder i.e. ThemeName/plugins/revslider.zip – See the Revolution Slider update procedure here: http://www.themepunch.com/faq/how-to-update-the-slider/

    Let me try….

O.k. So I got everything updated but I start to loose what I am doing when I have to edit css file as instructed at:

    http://www.themepunch.com/faq/update-plugin-packaged-theme/

Next, inside the “css” folder that you backed up before updating the plugin via ftp, open the following file in your favorite Notepad editor:
    css/captions.css
Then inside the “Edit Slide” page, scroll to the “Layer General Parameters” section, and click the “Edit Global Style” button:

    I do not have a captions.css

    I have captions_original.css

    and I have static-captioons.css

What do I need to do?

    Hi,

For some reason I can’t access the site, it always re-directs me to this site: http://afflictedautomotive.com/

There shouldn’t be any reason to update the CSS. As long as you upload the new revslider folder over the existing one, it should function ( you can make a backup of the original folder first if you prefer ).

Yeah, oddly it started working on it’s own after I updated the theme. What country are you located in? I have country blocking on so that may be why it re-directs.

I’ll be back in the UK tomorrow, I’ll try this then.

Yeah man not sure but it is working now. So do you have an email/paypal I could donate a few dollars too? I like that you guys help with the product well after the sale and want to make sure you have the funds to keep being able to do it?
