    Hi 🙂

When I try to get xml correct url to create a RSS count , I arrive to a url like this : "feed://website.com/?feed=rss2&page_id=329" and an error page.

Is there something to do special to active Rss on Dynamix ?

Thank you very much for help

    🙂

    Hi Anne,

You can set the RSS feed in the header.php add the following.

    <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="Blog Title" href="<?php echo get_option('home'); ?>/category/your-blog-category/feed/" />

Change the parts in bold to suit your site.

    Hi Andy,

Still fighting with the Rss. I add as you told me the link and when I try to suscribe the website on feedburner, I have an error message like this : "An error occurred connecting to the URL: internal error".

    Any idea please..?

Of course the category I entered instead of your "your-blog-category" have some articles.

    Thank you in advance

    Anne

    Hi Anne,

have you tried looking at the source code to see if the address it generates works?

    Andy.

I am stupid. My rss couldn't work simply because I had my "private" plug in activated… No chance for it to read something…

    So sorry. :-/

Does this code go on every page?

What info would I swap out that is in bold?

    Cheers,

    Dave

    Hi Dave,

This code applies to all pages, it’s the main source for your RSS, it can’t change on individual pages.

    Thanks for the clarification Andy……

What parameters do I put in this code as it related to my website?

    <link rel=”alternate” type=”application/rss+xml” title=”Blog Title” href=”<?php echo get_option(‘home’); ?>/category/your-blog-category/feed/” />

    Cheers,

    Dave

Hi Dave, you just need to change the parts in bold to what you need. The Blog Title can be anything you like, the your-blog-category has to be the Post category you want to focus your RSS on.

    Hello,

What if I want and RSS feed for ALL of my catagories?

I was hoping to just have the feed for this page

With that being said, what stucture do I use for the code?

    Hi Dave,

    You could try replacing

    <?php echo get_option(‘home’); ?>/category/your-blog-category/feed/

    with

    <?php echo get_option(‘home’); ?>/feed/
